(Amman – June 2018) Bank of Jordan continues to implement the latest data security requirements issued by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards Council, amid strenuous efforts to safeguard payment data.

The Bank has again been validated as PCI DSS Compliant for adhering to the new edition of version 3.2, after an audit of BoJ’s relevant security systems, policies, and processes was performed by security provider ScanWave CTS and its partners.

BoJ Director General Mr. Saleh Rajab Hammad, who received the compliance certification from ScanWave CTS General Manager Ramzi Sunna’, said the validation attests to BoJ’s keenness to adopt latest industry standards to ensure highly-secure products and services. “This is especially important given the growing use of e-payment channels” added Hammad.
