Bank of Jordan has launched “My Career” program for school students and undergraduates to teach them essential banking and other skills and improve their readiness to join the workforce.
Students can join the scheme, the first in the Kingdom, through visiting BoJ Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Alternatively, applicants can directly contact the Bank’s teams who visit academic institutions to attract candidates..
“My Career” is yet another education initiative started by the Bank to pay back the community.
BoJ Director General, Mr. Saleh Rajab Hammad, said “We are very pleased to launch such a program that helps Jordanian youth gain the necessary skills and knowledge they need to have successful careers.” This, he noted, “facilitates their smooth transition from school to work.”
