BOJ Guarantees are letters issued by the Corporate Business Development Department at the request of clients to pledge the payment of specific amounts to chosen beneficiaries.

They can be issued in the context of tenders, as well as performance and customs requirements.

In the event where the client is not able to abide by the commitments subject of the guarantee, the pledged amount shall be paid to the beneficiary at the set expiry date.
