(Amman - April 2020) Al-Fakhouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank of Jordan, stated that the bank donated an amount of one million Jordanian dinar to the newly created “Himmat Watan” fund to receive large financial contributions, according on his national sense, his spirit belonging to Jordan and to its wise leadership. Also, to support the official’s efforts in fighting the Corona virus, and to relieve burdens and concerns, especially for the most affected.
Al-Fakhouri said that the donation made by Bank of Jordan to the Fund comes as part of its initiatives and programs that underlie its flexible corporate social responsibility strategy to keep pace with urgent issues, which are devoted to the concepts of social and national solidarity, as well as motivating institutions in its various sectors and areas of work to follow this example to approach and stand together in the best interest of the Kingdom.
Al-Fakhouri indicated in a related context, that Bank of Jordan has directed its multiple channels to facilitate the process of donating to the “Himmat Watan” fund, enabling them to donate cash, or to donate checks or money transfers and through the e-FAWATEERCOM service from the BoJ Mobile application.
Al-Fakhouri stressed that Bank of Jordan, while keen on the interests of its customers and clients, it is committed to continuing to meet their needs around the clock. This is achieved by presenting its services by various electronic channels that can be accessed with the utmost convenience and ease from anywhere and at any time, including contact center and BoJ Mobile application, and through the branches throughout the Kingdom (except malls), welcoming clients every day from 10 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.
