(Amman, Jordan - 24 August 2024):
At the start of the new 2025-2024 academic year, Bank of Jordan backed the ''Haqeebati 9'' project, led by Qawafel al Khair Association for Emergency Relief and Development, with the slogan #Ihmilha_Aani, which
is a part of a developmental and humanitarian inititiative that promises funding and unity in different projects with different social classes to help the less fortunate areas of Jordan. This project aims to meet students' needs by relieving their hardships and motivating them to succeed academically.
Within this initiative, Bank of Jordan, with their employees, donated 400 backpacks with all the basic necessities, including full stationery sets which were distributed during engaging, child-centric events in the Jerash, Ajloun, Amman, and Northern Ghor areas.
Through joining 'Haqeebati 9,' Bank of Jordan would like to retiterate its belief that education is a basic human right, for it is the foundation to nurturing skilled generations that are able to contribute and achieve continuous growth. Our participation aligns with the government's aims to implement a more modern economic vision in the education sector and pave the way for future partnership opportunities to combat different social challenges.
It should be noted that ‘Haqeebati 9' has been considered a seasonal project implemented by Qawafel Al Khair Association for Emergency Relief and Development every year for nine consecutive years. It aims to support school children in less fortunate areas through supplying them with backpacks and stationery to ease their start in the new academic year.
