By implementing educational programs directed at school and university students that contribute to enabling them to raise their level of financial awareness, we will in turn contribute to promoting economic and social stability for themselves and for the society as a whole.”

Dima Bibi, CEO of INJAZ, stressed the importance of continuing the effective partnership with the Bank of Jordan through the bank’s support of the organization’s activities and programs in schools and universities. She also noted the importance of cooperation between the private sector and INJAZ to serve the education sector, achieve the values of serving the local community, and support the organization’s mission of motivating and preparing young people for the future. To become active members of their society and contribute to the development of the national economy by contributing to the development of the education and entrepreneurship system.
Bibi added, “The cooperation with the Bank of Jordan—which is a member of the INJAZ Board of Trustees—achieves our common goals by activating the role of social responsibility among various sectors, contributes to spreading financial awareness among many segments of society, and enhances the culture of volunteer work.”
The cooperation includes implementing a specialized training program aimed at enhancing and raising financial awareness among university students. It will be implemented at the University of Jordan, Al- Balqa' Applied University (BAU), and Middle East University (MEU), where students will learn about the most important financial concepts and skills such as sound financial planning, enable them to make wise financial decisions, and enhance the concept of rational consumption. Furthermore, the program will introduce students to the most important financial and digital products and services, types of accounts, cards, and other different banking solutions. It will also teach them how to deal with these products and services, and understand the role of the Central Bank of Jordan in protecting the financial consumer.
The training program includes an explanation of the role of financial technology in reshaping the work of banks and the career opportunities provided by this field, in addition to the concept of cybersecurity and ways to deal with its associated risks.
The cooperation also includes support of the INJAZ campaign to adopt schools, through which a group of programs will be implemented for school students, including: the ‘Me and My Surroundings’ program, the ‘Work Communication Skills’ program, the ‘Ask the Expert’ program, and the debate program. It does this with the aim of preparing students to be more capable and efficient to meet the future needs of the labor market.
