Date: 20/04/2023

Bank of Jordan announced the renewal of its partnership with the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans. This collaboration includes providing educational scholarships for students, supported by the fund, seeking a bachelor’s degree

On Arab Orphan Day, Bank of Jordan announced this collaborative effort as part of their community programs to aid national efforts in advancing the future of orphans by offering educational opportunities to those in care homes . The bank continually strives to address the concerns and issues of orphans, particularly those related to their academics, to break down barriers that impede their academic progress, helping them develop and become self-reliant. These efforts will help them transform into individuals who are able to engage in the process of sustainable community and national development.

Commenting on the matter, the General Manager of the Bank of Jordan, Saleh Hammad, said, “We are pleased to continue supporting the Al-Aman Fund, which has become one of the most important sources of providing equal and supportive opportunities to develop and strengthen the capabilities of young men and women in Jordan without discrimination.”

Hammad added, “Our commitment to this support reiterates our enthusiasm to continue the great work we have done in cooperation with the fund over the years; it also emphasizes how important it is for us to assume shared responsibility and collaborate effectively with establishments that hold noble causes. We are firm believers in the ability of these organizations to support development, considering education and enlarging its scope as one of its most significant approaches. This is seen as the initial step to start producing a nucleus of potential leaders who can achieve security and improved lives for a larger number of orphans.”

Bank of Jordan has led, and continues to lead, a path of development contributions, which embodies its ambitious vision focused on investing in youth and implementing a series of initiatives stemming from its CSR strategy. This is characterized by its symbiotic and human nature and aims to create and promote a sustainable social and economic impact by empowering all components of society from different groups, sectors, and institutions.
