Bank of Jordan Awards "Sanabel" Children's Savings Account Holders Five PlayStation 5 Consoles Through Its 2026 World Cup Campaign

Date: 02/08/2026

(Amman, Jordan – 21 August 2026): Bank of Jordan has awarded five young clients under the age of 18 a PlayStation 5 console each through weekly draws held during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as part of its campaign for holders of the "Sanabel" children's savings account.

The campaign successfully brought the excitement of the World Cup closer to young football fans by encouraging them to build positive saving habits while giving them the opportunity to win prizes that reflect their interests and passions.

Launched as a gesture of appreciation for Sanabel account holders, the campaign forms part of the bank's ongoing efforts to encourage children to develop a savings mindset from an early age and plan responsibly for the future. It also reflects Bank of Jordan's commitment to delivering banking experiences tailored to different age groups, with benefits and rewards that enhance the value of its products and respond to clients’ evolving needs.

Bank of Jordan encourages parents to take advantage of the special campaigns it launches throughout the year by opening Sanabel savings accounts for their children or adding to their existing balances, helping them develop practical saving habits while benefiting from the account's many rewards and exclusive prize opportunities.

Designed specifically for children, the Sanabel savings account introduces young clients to essential financial concepts such as saving, planning, commitment, and setting long-term goals in a practical and engaging way. In addition to welcome gifts, account holders can obtain an ATM card linked to the BOJ Mobile app for convenient account management and enjoy returns on linked deposits.

The account also offers a wide range of prizes through regular draws, including 10 tablets every month (excluding August and December), school fee prizes worth JOD 2,000 for 20 winners, daily cash prizes of JOD 9,999, and a grand prize of JOD 200,000 awarded to two winners, with JOD 100,000 presented to each winner at the end of June and December.
