(Amman, Jordan – xx July 2026): Bank of Jordan has launched the 2026 edition of its "Mihnati" program as part of its ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and workforce readiness. The initiative provides high school students, local and international university students, and recent graduates with hands-on practical skills to complement their academic education and elevate their professional capabilities through a high-impact learning experience in a real-world banking environment.

Backed by the bank's leadership, Mihnati is built on a structured development framework with clear criteria for participant selection, training, and evaluation. Trainees' progress is measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) covering technical, professional, and personal development. Throughout the program, trainees receive continuous guidance from a dedicated program team and experienced mentors from across the bank.

The program also embraces diversity by welcoming male and female trainees from different age groups, academic backgrounds, and geographical locations within Jordan and abroad, including Palestine. This inclusive approach reflects the diversity of today's workplace while creating broad opportunities for learning and professional development.

Delivered over eight weeks in progressive phases, Mihnati offers intensive, comprehensive training that draws on Bank of Jordan's more than 60 years of banking experience. Trainees gain practical insight into how modern financial institutions operate while developing an understanding of various banking functions, with a particular focus on banking services and innovation. Alongside technical training, the program provides mentorship that helps trainees strengthen their practical skills, foster creativity, and prepare for future careers in the banking sector and beyond.

As part of Bank of Jordan's vision of promoting innovation as a driver of transformation and sustainable growth, this year's program features a dedicated innovation track. Trainees will work in teams to address real banking challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions that enhance banking services, improve operational efficiency, and elevate customer experience. The track culminates in an innovation camp featuring a series of team-based competitions, giving trainees the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing the skills needed to shape the future of banking and financial services.

At the conclusion of the program, the three most outstanding ideas will be recognized. In addition, 20 top-performing trainees will be selected for an extra week of advanced training, during which they will have the opportunity to earn a professional certification in innovation. They will also be considered for future part-time or full-time employment opportunities at Bank of Jordan. Reflecting the bank's commitment to supporting youth employment and helping reduce unemployment in Jordan, all graduates receive a certificate of participation that strengthens their career prospects, while successful trainees are given priority consideration for future vacancies at the bank.
