Bank of Jordan Graduates the Second Cohort of Mihnati Summer Program

(Amman, Jordan - October 13, 2022) — Bank of Jordan recently sponsored the graduation ceremony of the second batch of university students from this year’s Mihnati Summer Program. The event was led by the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Saleh Rajab Hammad, and was held at their Learning and Development Department.

The Bank continues to implement Mihnati, to showcase its commitment to taking social responsibility. The program aims to support and guide students toward achieving their true potential in various banking and financial fields. In addition, it enables them to develop and refine their skills, acquire new knowledge, and prepare them for this industry.

During the ceremony, Hammad stated: “Through “Mihnati”, the Bank of Jordan seeks to develop students' knowledge and skills in training sessions that are like a professional work environment. We seek to provide the job market with young individuals who can succeed in the banking sector. This comes down to our social responsibility, and our belief in the importance of training and involving young people in the labor market”.

Hammad added that “The Mihnati Program, aims to develop a new generation of graduates and students equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to tackle the job market. All training programs are conducted in accordance with the latest international standards and methods. Participants will also get the opportunity to learn directly from experienced employees from the Bank of Jordan”.

Mihnati is one of the development programs established by the Bank of Jordan. It is part of their Corporate Social Responsibility that works to empower university and school students in the Bank of Jordan’s various departments. Through the program, students are provided with a realistic experience that simulates what it is like to work in a banking and finance institution.
