(Amman, Jordan – 25 August 2024): Bank of Jordan offered its sponsorship to the Thirteenth Annual Warrior Competition in the year 2024. The competition kicked off on the twenty fifth of the current month of August under the esteemed leadership of Major General Yousef Huneiti, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
This year’s competition marked its significance with the attendance of several of the Kingdom’s ambassadors, military attachés, Senior Officers, noncommissioned soldiers of Jordan’s Armed Forces, security services, as well as civilian upperclassmen. 33 teams competed, representing 19 countries, in addition to 13 countries attending as spectators. The international presence at this year’s competition solidifies the Kingdom’s status as a prominent destination to host events in the military and defense sectors.
Bank of Jordan’s sponsorship of the Annual Warrior Competition is a testament to the partnership shared between the Bank and King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center ‘KATSOC’, the prestigious organizer of this event. The sponsorship reflects Bank of Jordan’s commitment to not only supporting the Kingdom’s most significant events, both national and international, but participating in them. The Annual Warrior Competition is considered a world stage to exhibit the forces’ extraordinary capabilities in Special Operations and combatting terrorism.
