Bank of Jordan sponsored the twelfth edition of the annual Warrior Competition for the year 2022, launched on the June 5 in an event, held under the patronage of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces– the Arab Army, Major General Yousef Huneiti, and attended by several ambassadors, military attachés accredited to the Kingdom, senior and non-commissioned officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces, and officials from different sectors.

The annual competition, showcasing skills in combating terrorism and special operations forces, featured a total of 40 teams from 25 countries competing for the Warrior title.

Bank of Jordan's sponsorship stems from its keenness to be part of key events in the Kingdom, facilitate them, contribute to their success, and support national efforts and directives to transform Jordan into a global destination as an incubator for events specialized in several fields, including military and defense.

This sponsorship highlights the strategic partnership between the bank and the King Abdullah II Center for Special Operations Training (KASOTC), which holds the competition, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to building on this partnership, especially since it is not the first that the bank presents for the competition.

Through this step the bank also seeks to reflect its belief in the vital role of security and military institutions in various aspects of life in the Kingdom and contribute to enhancing defense and national security efforts and providing the highest levels of specialized and integrated training.
